The info is still good but out of date (especially in the quarks department). The aim of this tangible synth is to create a playful and intuitive instrument which allows a new public to understand the priniciples behind algorithmic sound creation without being confronted by confusing lines of code and the difficult barriers to entry often experienced with FOSS software. This repo has been archived since I cannot maintain it anymore and noone has stepped up to take over. Secondly, I shall be undergoing a residency with iMAL in Brussels in May, with the aim of developing an open source, fully digital, tangible synthesiser which creates and interacts with algorithmic sound creation and music composition, the ‘tangible synth’. This temporary private exhibition shall take place in the Grand Salon of the Philharmonie de Paris between the 23rd and the 28th April. This is a collaborative process bringing together La Philharmonie de Paris and a group of Sonic Makers from around France - invited by BrutPop - to experiment with new and exciting forms of playful interactivity for children within a museum-type environment. As I have been alluding to in previous blog articles, I have some exciting projects in progress or upcoming.įirstly, within the context of ‘La Petite Fabrique’ (the little workshop) of La Philharmonie de Paris, I am curently working on the development and creation of a prototype exhibition targeted at pre-selected groups of children from the north of Paris and the surrounding area.
